The paper skirt I made within the first year of College

  This is a view from the side.
  The skirt was influenced by Jennifer Collier, a textile artist who  makes clothes from paper.
This 3D skirt was taken from a drawing of a hair cell.
I appliqued silver beads into this to create the cell. 
The inside of the skirt was machine stitched then I added blue tissue paper on the outside to give my skirt more Va Va Voom.
The black ruffles finish this piece off well I think!
