Sketchbook appliqued pieces showing development towards my 'Self' project






These two pieces use an assortment of material and media to explore surfaces and texture, this allowed me to investigate ideas through development. It also offered opportunity to create outcomes from different sources of materials that had a sense of self, within this I used bold stitch influenced by Tracey Emin, to outline and bring further attention to detail of the personal images.
